APEX Equity Law Suit Against Directors And Others Dismissed
Our JLPW Litigation Team broke the good news to our client Zulazman Zulkifli (former Executive Director of Apex Equity) today that he won the case. His jubilant response was “That’s great! Michael was right all the time, when you’re in a fight have Jeff and team in your corner”.
The late Michael Lim, our former consultant and one of Malaysia’s best corporate takeover and shareholders tussle specialists, was a good friend of Zul. So when Zul, the first of several parties in the Apex Equity law suits to approach us, asked us to defend him, we gladly obliged.
Key management and Directors embroiled in law suits by shareholders are under tremendous stress so both our corporate and litigation teams worked in tandem to develop strategies to assist the defense. It’s a big relief, especially for Zul, that the case was dismissed today.
