Jilleen Tia is partner of Jeff Leong, Poon & Wong, specialising in banking and finance law. Jilleen works and advises on full range of domestic and cross border transactions: asset financings (vessel, real estate, aircraft), project financings, acquisition financings, Islamic financings and syndicated loans amongst others. She has many years of experience acting for both sides of banking and finance transactions. Her client base includes commercial banks, Islamic banks, lessors, public listed company borrowers and factors. Over the years, Jilleen has advised foreign financiers and lenders on Malaysian laws and regulations relating to moneylending, security interests, vessel registration and mortgage, aircraft lease and foreign exchange administration. Jilleen can communicate fluently in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
