Raja is a senior litigation lawyer with 30 years’ experience in handling court proceedings such as applications (including motions and petitions), trials and appeals. He has represented financial institutions, government-linked companies, developers, contractors and sub-contractors and clients from various other industries including Boustead Naval Shipyard Sdn Bhd, Malaysian Maritime & Dredging Corporation Sdn Bhd, Jotun Sdn Bhd, PPG Performance Coatings (M) Sdn Bhd, Faber Group Berhad, PLUS Berhad, Propel Berhad and Ranhill Berhad. He has also provided training on banking recovery to Oriental Bank Berhad, BSN Commercial Bank (M) Berhad, United Merchant Finance Berhad, Mayban Finance Berhad and Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad. Raja has appeared before the Federal Court, Court of Appeal, High Court, Subordinate Courts and Industrial Court and has been engaged as counsel for other law firms in civil disputes. A number of cases conducted by him have been reported in law journals such as the Malaysian Law Journal (MLJ) and Current Law Journal (CLJ).
